This dramatic piece of Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni absorbed cultural epochs from the Roman paganism to the eighteenth century of Venetian Republic, the times of theatre reformation. The performance faithfully keeps up the tradition of Italian Comedy dell’Arte that proposes original and specific technique rendered by the actors.

 

This performance   must be of a great interest for those who specialize in culture, philosophy, history, art. Though the cultural background doesn’t hamper the perception of the sight in any case. Arlekino can be easily understood   by a wide range of public, from a 4-years-old child to a wise professor.

 

The performance is supported by Sebastiano Calvato, a Comedy dell’Arte specialist from Cultural Italian centre in Ukraine.
